Scope of Work

We keep DryShield™ tight and repeatable. That means we are very clear about what we do and what we do not do.

What we offer

  • 20‑mil reinforced encapsulation (floor + wall liner as specified)
  • Sealed vents & penetrations (air control)
  • Sealed crawl access
  • Drainage mat only when needed (site‑condition dependent)
  • Rigid foam insulation upgrade (optional)
  • Standalone plug‑in dehumidifiers (optional) — installed and set up for crawl spaces
  • DryShield™ documentation: certificate, homeowner info sheet, MLS‑ready language

What we do NOT offer

  • No sump pumps
  • No excavation or foundation digging/drain tile installs
  • No HVAC work (no duct design, no mechanical system modification)
  • No ducted / whole‑home dehumidifiers — we install standalone plug‑in units only
  • No electrical panel work (dehumidifiers plug into an existing, code‑compliant receptacle)

If a job needs sump, excavation, or HVAC modifications, we’ll tell you up front and can coordinate with your GC or preferred trades.

Why we keep it this way

DryShield™ is built for builders and homeowners who want a clean, inspection‑friendly crawl space moisture control system. By focusing on one thing and doing it to spec, we move faster, reduce callbacks, and deliver consistent results.
